Airship LZ 127 -  On the 90th birthday of Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin, the German airship manufacturer, airship LZ 127 was christened GRAF ZEPPELIN.  Although still fully operational, the airship was broken up in 1940, upon the order of Reich Marshal Hermann Göring.

Luftschiff LZ 127 - Wurde am 8. Juli 1928 zum 90. Geburtstag von Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin auf den Namen GRAF ZEPPELIN getauft;  obwohl noch funktionsfähig, 1940  auf Befehl Görings abgewrackt.

The Zeppelin Airship D-LZ-127 Graf Zeppelin was launched for the first time on September 18, 1928. Designed for carrying 20 passengers and a crew of 40, this airship set a host of records, including the longest non-stop flight from Germany to Lakehurst, New Jersey, a 6200 mile trip, in 111 hours and 44 minutes. In August, 1929, she made the 20,500 mile around the world trip in a total of 12 days in the air.
Das Luftschiff "vor Anker". Das Luftschiff D-LZ- 127 Graf Zeppelin "lief am 18. September 1928 vom Stapel". Es war gebaut für 20 Passagiere und 40 Besatzungsmitglieder. Dieses Luftschiff erreichte ein große Zahl von Rekorden, unter anderem den längsten Non-Stop-Flug von Deutschland nach Lakehurst, New Jersey, eine 6200 Meilen-Reise in 111 Stunden und 44 Minuten. Im August 1929 schaffte das Luftschiff eine 20.500 Meilen-Reise rund um die Welt und war dabei 12 Tage in der Luft.
