Flugplatz Rebstock

Long before Rhein-Main and the present site of the Flughafen Frankfurt south of the Main was the Rebstock Airfield, just northwest of the city near the Festhalle.
Lange bevor der Rhein-Main-Flughafen südlich des Mains entstand, gab es den Flugplatz Rebstock im Nordwesten der Stadt in der Nähe der Festhalle.

In 1935, 33000 passengers were flew through the Rebstock Airfield.  Compare that with the 32 million passengers who use the Rhein-Main Airport today.
Im Jahr 1935 wurden auf dem 1. Frankfurter Flughafen am Rebstock-Gelände insgesamt 33000 Fluggäste registriert. Heute
passieren ca 32 Millionen Fluggäste pro Jahr den Rhein-Main-Flughafen.
